Sameer Mansukhani is a Senior Director at InnoVen Capital where he is involved in sourcing and execution of venture debt transactions, as well as portfolio management. He has over 18 years of experience in Financial Services across Venture Debt, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Research.
Prior to joining Innoven, he served as an Investment Principal with Alteria Capital, where he focused on venture debt transactions across Consumer Internet, Logistics, Health Tech, Enterprise Technology, B2B Commerce and Education space.
Sameer has also worked at Axis Bank and Axis Capital (Erstwhile Enam Securities) for 11 years and was part of the founding team that led Axis Bank’s foray in corporate banking solutions for start-ups. At Axis Capital (Erstwhile Enam Securities), Sameer was a client coverage Investment Banker and worked with corporates across sectors such as engineering, telecom, renewable energy, media and aviation. He brings together expertise in Equity & Debt funding (capital markets, private equity & structured credit) and Mergers & Acquisitions and likes to spend time in guiding founders on their business & funding strategies as they scale.
He started his career with Crisil in their Industry research business and was also part of the initial investment team when the Times of India Group set up Brand Capital (Private Treaties)
He has a post graduate degree in finance (MBA) from Mumbai University’s Welingkar Institute of Management and has also cleared all levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) course from the CFA Institute, USA. He enjoy’s playing badminton and cycling to keep himself fit and likes reading about history, corporate & professional biographies and investigative non-fictional books.
